To give you an indication of what to expect, here’s an idea of what happens at RIVERcamp.
An overview
RIVERcamp is a 6 day event that runs for an evening and five full days (25-30 August), starting with a main meeting at 7pm on the first day and ending after the evening main meeting on the sixth day. It is held at Lenchwood Christian Centre, Ab Lench, Evesham where people bring their own tents and caravans, clustered into villages.
The Focus
Each day there are two main meetings, one in the morning at 10am and one in the evening at 7pm. At these, everyone comes together for worship, teaching and ministry.
Other Things
A number of venues are open in the afternoon including an area for Prayer Soaking and another serving refreshments. There is also afternoon entertainment, including sports and fun events. As well as taking time to focus on Father God’s love, we encourage you to make time to relax with family and friends during the week. There is planty of time to do this during the afternoons and late evening.
After hours entertainment
Those feeling awake after our evening meetings can chill out and watch great films in the Impact tent, visit Deep End for late night worship or visit the resource area where you can buy a few books, CDs and other things. The RIVER café reopens at 9pm serving hot and cold refreshments, with food vendors serve hot food from 9pm until 11.00pm.
