RIVERkids (5-10s)

The RIVERkids ministry in 2013 will be run by Powerpack, a children’s ministry enjoying the River of God for the last 26 years. They aim to see children Chasing God and Shaking Nations, and together with a team want to see the RiverKids programme go deeper. Heather Thompson and Nick Jackson will be leading the 5-7s and 8-10s programme at River Camp 2013.
Nick Jackson - Powerpack“We are planning a fun, action-packed programme, full of God encounters, rich in Holy Spirit adventure and desperate to discover the Father’s heart for the children’s lives. During the week we aim to help children connect with God, receive anointing and step boldly into His purpose and calling on their lives.”
What is Powerpack?
God is powerfully at work amongst children in these days. As a ministry we are committed to working with God to see children raised up as God Chasers and Nation Shakers, whether this be through our work with children directly or as we seek to train and resource children’s leaders and parents.
Powerpack originated from the concept that children can be little 'powerpacks' for God. The ministry was founded in 1986 by Heather Thompson who is still the director of the ministry.
Powerpack is interdenominational and charismatic in character and team based, drawing volunteers from various churches throughout the UK and overseas. There is a core leadership team which is made up of Heather Thompson, Nick Jackson and Chris Jackson. The ministry is administered by the Powerpack Trust and linked with Partner In Harvest. and Global Legacy. Heather ministers internationally, speaking about children and revival, leading children’s meetings and training leaders in Argentina, USA, where she has ministered on a number of occasions at Bethel Church Redding, Thailand, Italy and South Africa.
