Electrical Hook-Ups

River Camp will undertake to provide electrical hook-up to all caravans / tents who have requested and paid the agreed fee prior to the cut-off date of 30 July 2012. The electrical team reserve the right to refuse electricity to anyone requesting after this date.  Please read this information prior to requesting an electrical hook-up.

Day Passes

RIVERcamp spans over 6 days and to get the most out the event, we encourage you to stay for the week.  Infact, we give priority to people booking in for the whole thing, however, we want to be flexible and provide day passes for those who just can't make the whole thing.

Accessibility

RIVERcamp History

RIVERcamp commenced in 2002 out of a desire to provide a family camp where time can be taken to seek after God in worship, teaching and ministry.  It provides a safe place for people to relax in God's presence, as well as have fun and spend time with other Christians.

Location and Directions

RIVERcamp is hosted at Lenchwood Christian Centre.  The Lenchwood farmhouse and other buildings are set in 240 acres of rolling Worcestershire farmland.  Some 40 acres have been set aside for the Christian Centre that warmly welcomes individuals, groups and organisations.

A Typical Day

RIVERcamp is a 6 day event that runs from Wednesday 22 August 2012, with registration from midday and starting with a main meeting at 7pm.  It ends after the morning meeting on Monday 27 August.  To give you an indication of what to expect, here’s an idea of what happens at RIVERcamp.

Be On A Team

We need an army of people to help make the camp happen.  Serving as a volunteer on one of the teams is an amazing way to grow spiritually and to learn new skills. You’ll also meet lots of new people and receive far more than you give. Working on shifts, most volunteers receive a free place and 2 meals a day. Teams fill up fast, so check the details for more information of what is available and apply early to avoid disappointment.
