Be On A Team

We need an army of people to help make the camp happen.  Serving as a volunteer on one of the teams is an amazing way to grow spiritually and to learn new skills. You’ll also meet lots of new people and receive far more than you give. Working on shifts, most volunteers receive a free place and 2 meals a day. Teams fill up fast, so check the details for more information of what is available and apply early to avoid disappointment.

The volunteer application process is straighforward.

  1. Download the Volunteer Application Factsheet, that explains things in more detail.
  2. Select the teams you are interesting in serving on, downloading more information.
  3. Book online and select the team that you would like to work with
  4. We'll repond to your application confirming the next steps

Team Leader Roles

Head Steward - If you have experience in leading a team of stewards at large events, we would love to hear from you.  Please contact us and provide details of the type of events and teams you have managed as a Head Steward.

Assistant Catering Managers - If you know what it takes to bulk cateer for hundreds of people, please contact us with details of your experience.  The role of Assistance Catering Managers would see you being the understudy of our current Catering Managers in 2012 and become the actual Catering Manager in 2013.  This would ideally be a couple who understand bulk catering and have the time to spend getting things fully arranged.  This includes ordering food and disposables, as well as menus and the like. Budget control is critical as well as the leadership and organisational skills.
